The Swarthmore CO-OP is looking for individuals to fill upcoming Board of Director vacancies, beginning April 2018. Terms run for three consecutive years. The Co-op believes in the importance of providing local and sustainable food, while seeking to fill all aspects of a community grocery store. We are searching for like-minded people, who are interested in promoting the health, well-being and future of this important community food cooperative. We have a particular need for individuals with a strong financial and/or business background. To learn more about the Board, its goals and functions, please contact Michael Markowicz at: [email protected]. The Board has a strong commitment to creating an inclusive environment that values a diversity of experience, cultural background, and opinion. We seek prospective Board members from every corner of our Co-op member community. All candidates must be current Swarthmore CO-OP members.
