PHILADELPHIA, 1967 – Joseph Talluto, a 67 year-old former chef, opens the first Talluto’s Store following the purchase of the family’s first ravioli machine. The Talluto’s business steadily grew and expanded throughout the Philadelphia area to include their own production facility and a store in the Philadelphia Italian Market.
Three generations and 50,000 square feet later, the Talluto’s family business is booming with three store locations (Philly, Ridley Park, and Norristown) and a large production facility just a few minutes from here in Folcroft, PA.
