The Swarthmore Co-op is now looking for individuals to fill multiple Board of Director vacancies. As a Board Member, you help provide strategic direction, general oversight, and continuation of the mission to the third oldest food Co-op in the nation.
These opportunities are available beginning in April 2024, immediately following the vote at the Annual Owner’s meeting. Board members serve for a three year term.
The Co-op believes in the importance of providing local and sustainable food, while seeking to fill all aspects of a community food market. We are searching for like-minded people, who are interested in promoting the health, well-being and strategic future of this important community food cooperative. We have a current need for individuals with strong marketing, retail, culinary, and/or business background, and most importantly, individuals who care and are passionate for our community.
