Swarthmore Cooperative has been partnering with Mood’s Farm in Mullica Hill, NJ for over the past 5 years. We are proud to be the only place to offer their signature fresh fruit, short of taking your family on a road trip to enjoy a day at their farm (not to miss). This year, besides providing us with their legendary blueberries, we will have peaches, Italian plums, and for a limited time, fresh-pressed apple cider! The cider is only pressed from September to November with apples on the farm, so please prepare yourself for a trip down memory lane with this old-fashioned, exquisitely tasting cider.
About the Farm:
Mood’s Farm is one of the oldest direct-farm marketing operations in the state of New Jersey best known for their excellent fresh fruit quality from farm to stand. Well into its 3rd generation, there is no sign of its iconic quality slowing down.
Apple cider donuts are made fresh daily (Mon-Sat) with the exception of the Blueberry Festival where blueberry donuts are the feature. Mood’s Pick-Your-Own operation is superb and offers cherries (sweet/pie), blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, nectarines, apples, and plums to name a few.
In the Fall, they press their own cider in addition to offering apple picking hayrides in September and pumpkin picking hayrides in October. Spoken loudly by past generations, the Mood family takes pride in growing and selling quality produce in addition to providing a fun experience on their farm.
