The Swarthmore CO-OP is looking for individuals to fill four upcoming Board of Director vacancies, beginning April 2017. Terms run for three consecutive years. The CO-OP believes in the importance of providing local and sustainable food, while seeking to fill all aspects of a community grocery store. We are searching for four like-minded people, who are interested in promoting the health, well-being and future of this important community food cooperative. To learn more about the Board, its goals and functions, please contact Michael Markowicz at: [email protected]. The Board has a strong commitment to creating an inclusive environment that values a diversity of experience, cultural background, and opinion. We seek prospective Board members from every corner of our CO-OP member community. All candidates must be current Swarthmore CO-OP members.
