Raising Healthy Eaters
January 28, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
We all want our kids to eat healthfully. But parents and caretakers often struggle with their children’s eating habits and can face a lot of questions at mealtimes:
- How do I get my kid to eat what’s on his or her plate?
- How do I organize my life so that I can get food on the table in the first place?
- What are the best foods for my family to eat?
- What does the research say about what it really takes to develop eating habits that can help children make their own healthy choices as they get older?
Join other parents and caretakers in a supportive conversation led by Helen Nadel, Ed.M., that draws on best practices, her work in the farm-to-school movement and as a family food educator, as well as her personal experience with her own picky eater. You will walk away with practical strategies and great resources. Intended for parents/caretakers of kids 1-6.
