Philly Co-op Day

Saturday, Oct. 19 marks the inaugural Philadelphia Grocery Co-op Day declared by the City of Philadelphia. Commemorating the day, Kensington Community Food Co-op, Mariposa Food Co-op, South Philly Food Co-op, Swarthmore Co-op, and Weavers Way Co-op will host a day of activities and customer incentives, including local vendors showing off their products, raffles, and other special deals.

Also, be sure to stop by any of the participating Philly Co-ops between October 19th and November 1st to receive your rewards. The more co-ops your visit, the more rewards you receive.

Philly Co-op Day at the Swarthmore CO-OP
As part of Philly Co-op Day, the Swarthmore CO-OP will also be hosting the following events:
- Apple Pie Contest – 11 AM to 1 PM
- FREE Pumpkin Painting – 12 to 3 PM
- CO-OP Basic presentation – 1:30 to 2 PM
