Hometown Harvest

We know our CO-OP members and shoppers have a green thumb.

Do you grow the biggest squash on the street? Are your geraniums the brightest on the block? Do your peppers make your neighbors green with envy? Come show off your bounty at the Hometown Harvest at the Farmers’ Market on Saturday August 28th from 9am-12pm. Vendors from the market will judge all fruit, vegetables, and floral arrangements. Enter for a chance to win Best in Show and a gift certificate to the Farmers’ Market. Enter a single item for $5 or unlimited items for $10. Entries should be brought to the market the morning of the event, but you do not need to be present to win. All produce submissions will be donated to a local food pantry and all arrangements will be donated to a local senior center. Sign up at www.SwarthmoreRecreation.org.
