5th Annual Beer and Cheese Event

The Swarthmore CO-OP is excited to announce its 5^th Annual Beer & Cheese Event on Friday, February 26^th from 8:00 – 10:00 pm at our market located at 341 Dartmouth Avenue in Swarthmore, PA.

Experience the finest local beers from Victory Brewing Company, Yards Brewing Company, Philadelphia Brewing Company, and 2SP Brewing Company, as well as delectable local cheeses from Goot Essa, Calkins Creamery, and The Farm at Doe Run. Patrons will be able to sample and learn about their delicious products.

The event will be held in a convenient station-to-station setting where patrons rotate through four savory cheese stations, each of which will feature a guest speaker and beer for their tasting. Following the rotations, heavenly hors d’oeuvres will be available. In addition, all of the featured cheeses from the stations and the selection from our amazing cheese case can be purchased for 10% OFF the regular price.

We’re also thrilled to announce that a new vendor has been added to the event, Castle Island, which is Local Abundance’s branded charcuterie. Castle Island offers high quality, mouth-watering meats, and they will be featured at the Beer & Cheese Event. The offerings at the event will include Apple Wood Smoked Duck Breast, Apple Wood Smoked Turkey Breast, and two irresistible bacon varieties.

This is a limited engagement, as only 100 tickets will be sold. All guests must be 21 years or older. Tickets for the event are $25 for owners and $35 for future owners.
