The Swarthmore Co-Op Board and staff are deeply saddened by the death our friend and former board member and GM, Jack Cavanaugh.
Jack will be remembered as a tireless champion of the Co-Op. He was instrumental in the construction of the current building 20 years ago and served as the first general manager after opening. Jack had a vision for the Co-Op that took it from a small market to a thriving grocery store. Always with a smile, Jack gave generations of Board members great advice and guidance.
Our sincerest condolences go out to Nikki and his family. He will be sorely missed.
