Lacto-Fermented Pico de Gallo Workshop

Welcome to the Swarthmore CO-OP Fermentation Club! This is a new gathering every month at the Co-op, in which we demonstrate and discuss different methods of fermentation. Beginners and all levels welcome! There is no fee; we ask that you bring your enthusiasm, questions, and willingness to taste something new! Beer? Sourdough? Pickles? Sauerkraut? Kombucha? What about kimchi? It’s all on the table.
Our first session is Sunday, July 14 at 3:00, where we will learn to make lacto-fermented pico de gallo. It will taste fresh for months, kept in your fridge. That’s the beauty of lacto-fermentation. We may even have complementary mezcal cocktails. Led by Lauren McKinney and Lori Knauer. Meet us at the white tables!
